This pendant is a series of just two I made, exploring the Marquise shape. The pendant in the photographs just SOLD - but - the sister piece is available and yet to be photgraphed. It has very similar patterning, a little more movement and is greener and a little sparklier. More info and pics to follow, in the meantime please send me a direct message if you have any questions about the sister piece.

Combining a variety of skills I've honed in joinery, marquetry and silversmithing, I carve and inlay these tiny sculptural forms that embody the majesty of nature. These Moon and Sea wooden pendants can take the best part of a day to make but the process is spread over a number of days.

This Moon and Sea pendant is carved in recycled wood in a Marquise shape, inlaid with a central moonstone, surrounded by eco silver stars. The shell used in the Marquise pieces are absolutely stunning and the pictures cannot do them justice. I've been spending more time exploring the breathtaking beaches of Cornwall recently and this shape is inspired by all those who love to be in, on, and around the water.

It is hung on a sterling silver 18" snake chain. Or alternatively, please contact me and I can make a brown woven hemp cord with slip knots.

  • * Please note each piece of work is unique and handmade using natural organic materials. The pendants have small imperfections e.g. there may be tiny nicks in the shell which is part of the natural weathering process, or non-uniform woodgrain, or some making marks. I don't sand and finish to a uniform machine standand. These pendants are not mass produced but made by the raw energy of a woman's heart and hands. My own cycle informs and influences my woodwork and I try to allow for this too as that is often where the real magic happens - sometimes pieces are wild, other times calm - but they are always lovingly made.
